Tour Description

Discover the beautiful sloths and other wildlife species of Costa Rica, on this Guanacaste Sloths Tour. Your tour starts in the morning when you get picked up from your hotel in the Liberia, Papagayo, or Tamarindo area in an air-conditioned vehicle, and you will then travel towards the Tenorio Volcano National Park region. On the way there you will enjoy a very scenic ride, with views of farms, rivers, waterfalls, forests and many volcanoes of the Guanacaste Volcanic Mountain Range.

Swim and take pictures at the “Llanos del Cortes Waterfall”, considered by many people as the most beautiful of the Guanacaste Province; enjoy the surrounding scenery full of tropical forest and wildlife. Continue your Guanacaste Sloths Tour with a hike on the hanging bridges trail near the Tenorio Volcano National Park, where you will be able to admire the lush rainforest jungles of Costa Rica. On this hike, you will have the opportunity to observe the forest from the top, where rainforest animals can be observed, such as monkeys, sloths, toucans, agoutis, and lots of tropical birds of Central America.

Savor a delicious and authentic Costa Rican lunch in a typical restaurant of the area, and then, visit the local botanical garden, where you will have the chance to observe different animals of Costa Rica, such as different species of frogs, toucans, lots of tropical birds and of course the cute sloths, which are the most representative wild animals of Costa Rica. After this experience at the botanical garden, you will be taken back to your hotel.
